Scarborough fair cover on chapman stick and Persian daf

Back in 1993, I bought my first 10 string Chapman stick from Guitar Showcase in San Jose, CA and began studying with master stick player, Bob Culbertson. One of the first songs I learned was Scarborough Fair.

20 years later, my good friend and amazing percussionist Ali Nourbakhsh was in LA on tour with the Lian ensemble. We got together for a day to jam and ended up playing and recording a unique version of Scarborough Fair on Chapman Stick and the Persian Daf. I set up 4 cameras and we did a single take which was both our rehearsal and recording.
